2026 Female Provincial Team Tryouts - Registration Now Open

Baseball Manitoba is excited to announce the 2026 Female Provincial Team Tryouts for 14U, 16U, 19U, and Women's Team athletes. This year's selection process includes one indoor tryout (your choice of Winnipeg or Brandon) and one outdoor tryout in Portage la Prairie. All athletes must attend both an indoor and outdoor session to be eligible for team selection.

Eligible Ages (Birth Years)

• Women: 2006 and older
• 19U: 2007-2009
• 16U: 2010-2011
• 14U: 2012-2014

Indoor Tryouts

• April 25 - Home Run Sports Training Centre (Winnipeg)
  • 14U: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • 16U: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
  • 19U & Women: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• April 26 - Triple Crown Indoor Sports Facility (Brandon)
  • All ages: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Outdoor Tryouts

• May 2 - Rotary Republic Park (Portage)
  • 16U: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • 14U: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  • 19U & Women: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Important Notes for Athletes & Families

• Athletes must attend one indoor tryout (Winnipeg or Brandon) and the outdoor tryout in Portage.
• Athletes registering for multiple teams should attend their primary age group indoors.
• Athletes may be invited to move up or down an age group for the outdoor tryout.
• Athletes can indicate which team(s) they wish to be considered for on the registration form.
• Athletes trying out for only one team should attend the indoor and outdoor sessions for that age group.

16U Girls Provincial Team

• May 15-17: Prairie Showcase (Saskatoon)
• May 22-24: Wayne Tucker Tournament (Winnipeg)
• June 19-21: West Winnipeg Tournament
• July 1: Canada Day Camp (Lundar)
• July 3-5: Triple Crown Showdown (Brandon)
• August 20-23: 16U Girls Nationals (Moncton)

14U Girls Development Team

• May 30: Altona Tournament
• June 19-21: West Winnipeg Tournament
• July 1: Canada Day Camp (Lundar)
• July 18-19: TBD (Brandon)
• Aug 14-16: 14U Girls Westerns (Ile des Chenes)
