Use this page to ensure your NCCP and screening requirements are up to date.
All coaches (9U and up) must meet the NCCP requirements for their age division and level of play.
All coaches and managers must meet Baseball Manitoba's screening requirements. This includes background checks and other safety measures to help create a safe and welcoming environment.
All coaches and managers are required to complete the Respect in Sport (RIS) online course. This training helps sport leaders recognize and respond to abuse, harassment, and bullying, supporting a safe and inclusive sport environment.
Using an RIS Certification from Another Sport
If you completed RIS through a sport other than hockey, your certificate is valid for baseball. To use it:

Importing an RIS Certificate from Hockey
If you RIS certificate is from hockey, follow these instructions to import it for baseball: click here and follow the prompts.
To verify your NCCP status:
Baseball: Log in at nccp.baseball.ca.
Multi-Sport: Log in at the Coaches Association of Canada (CAC) at thelocker.coach.ca.
Coaches trained or certified under the former NCCP system (Levels 1-3, Regional/Provincial Trained or Certified) will have their status carried forward as "Transferred" in the current system.
