Baseball in Indigenous Communities

Baseball Manitoba is committed to growing the game in Indigenous communities across Manitoba and northwestern Ontario by creating welcoming, equitable opportunities for participants, coaches, and officials.

Whether your community is introducing baseball for the first time or looking to strengthen an existing program, we want to help!

Our goal is to work alongside communities to build sustainable baseball programs by providing resources, training, and ongoing support grounded in respect, collaboration, and integrity.

Programs & supports include:

Player camps and clinics
NCCP coaching clinics
Umpire clinics
Registration and administrative support through RAMP
A selection of gently used baseball equipment

From teaching the fundamentals of the game to training coaches and certifying local umpires, our staff can travel to interested communities to deliver clinics tailored to your needs. Once your coaches and officials have completed the necessary training, we can also assist local organizers with team registration and help prepare for the upcoming season.
