All coaches (9U and up) are required to complete NCCP baseball training. Certification requirements vary by age and level.
All coaches and managers must meet Baseball Manitoba's screening requirements, which include background checks and other safety measures to support a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.

Baseball Manitoba and Sport Manitoba require all coaches and managers to complete the Respect in Sport (RIS) online course. This training supports safe, respectful, and inclusive sport by helping sport leaders recognize and respond to abuse, harassment, and bullying.
All coaches must recertify every 5 years to maintain an active RIS status.

Using an RIS Certification from Another Sport
If you completed RIS through another sport (other than Hockey), your certification remains valid. To use it for baseball registration:
Your RIS certificate can now be used for baseball registration in RAMP.
Importing an RIS Certificate from Hockey
To import your hockey RIS certificate, click here and follow the prompts.
To verify your current NCCP training or certification status:
Baseball: Log in to your Baseball Canada coaching account at nccp.baseball.ca.
Multi-Sport: To access your coaching transcript for all sports, log in to your Coaches Association of Canada (CAC) account at thelocker.coach.ca.
Coaches who achieved certification under the former NCCP system (Levels 1-3, Regional/Provincial Trained or Certified) will see their status carried forward as "Transferred" in the current system.
