Baseball Manitoba's 9U Division is for players aged 9 and under. It introduces baseball in a safe, structured, and fun environment where the focus is on skill development over competition.

Although 9U games use pitching machines, leagues may offer pitching clinics late in the season for 9-year-old players and their coaches. These clinics teach proper pitching mechanics in a safe, controlled environment, helping players prepare for the transition to 11U. Full details will be shared before the season.
Leagues are encouraged to host regional jamborees to give teams a fun, non-competitive way to wrap up the season. These jamborees should be planned before the season starts and typically take place in mid to late June.
In July, Baseball Manitoba hosts the Provincial 9U Jamboree, where 12 teams are randomly selected to participate. This event gives teams from across the province a chance to celebrate their season with games at Blue Cross Park, home of the Winnipeg Goldeyes.
