A Message to Our Community - July 1st, 2021

July 1st traditionally represents a time where Canadians gather to celebrate many of the great things this country has to offer.

This year, however, in light of the recent discoveries of mass and unmarked graves found at sites of former residential schools in Canada, our thoughts are with all Indigenous members of the Baseball Manitoba community and their families.

We must acknowledge this dark and tragic period in our history and the systemic racism that continues to exist in our institutions and work towards healing and reconciliation.

To all Indigenous peoples, we stand with you in solidarity today and always.
