Umpire of the Month for May 2019

Baseball Manitoba would like to congratulate Nathan LeMay on winning the Winnipeg Goldeyes Umpire of the Month for May 2019. 

“LeMay always does his best to make sure that the game is enjoyable for not just him, but also for the players and everyone else involved. Parents love it when they see the umpire having fun with the kids in the game. He always has a smile when he’s out there, and gives back by mentoring young and new umpires whenever he can no matter where they’re umping. He loves the game and loves umping and no matter what he’s always having fun umping baseball,” said his nominator. 

This is LeMay’s 10th year umpiring, and he is trying for his Level 4 Certification. He has umpired at numerous provincials (A, AA, and AAA), and umpired at two Western Championship Tournaments.

Congratulations again to the deserving Umpire Nathan LeMay.
