50/50 Raffle

All of us at Baseball Manitoba are excited to announce our all-new province-wide 50/50 Raffle!

TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED: $9360.00 - as of 3:30PM on May 17th

How It Works:

Tickets* will be available for purchase online starting sales at 9:00 AM CST on May 1, 2024, with sales ending on August 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM CST.

Ticket Price: $10.00

Every customer who purchases a ticket will be entered to win the Raffle Prize, which will be 50% of the gross revenue from all tickets sold.

Every customer that purchases tickets before May 31 at 11:00 AM CST, June 28 at 11:00 AM CST and July 31 at 11:00 AM CST will be entered to win the Early Bird Prize for that corresponding month (3 prizes total).

Early Bird Prize #1 - Rawlings Player Package: Baseball Equipment ($1000 value)

Early Bird Prize #2 - Winnipeg Goldeyes Package (Trip for four): 4 tickets to two Winnipeg Goldeyes games (8 tickets total), food voucher, 1 night stay in Winnipeg Hotel ($500 value)

Early Bird Prize #3 - Toronto Blue Jays Package (Trip for four): 4 tickets to two Toronto Blue Jays games (8 tickets total), food voucher, 2 night stay in Toronto Hotel, 4 round-trip flights from Winnipeg to Toronto ($3200 Value)

*Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older and located within Manitoba's provincial borders at the time of purchase. Early Bird draws will take place at 145 Pacific Ave, Winnipeg, MB on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 11AM CST (Early Bird Prize #1), Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11AM CST (Early Bird Prize #2), and Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 11AM CST (Early Bird Prize #3). The Baseball Manitoba 50/50 draw will continue throughout the summer (May 1, 2024 at 9AM CST - August 30, 2024 at 10AM CST) and a final individual 50/50 draw will be on August 30, 2024 at 11AM CST at 145 Pacific Ave, Winnipeg, MB. Tickets are not transferable. Every ticket holder has the right to witness the draw(s).

Full Baseball Manitoba 50/50 Raffle Rules and Regulations

1. The Prize: The Raffle Prize will be 50% of the gross revenue from all tickets sold.

2. Tickets: All ticket sales are final. All tickets purchased and entered in the draw cannot be refunded, including if ticket purchasers made an error in selecting the number of tickets they desire to purchase. Exceptions to refund policy will only be made in situations involving technical error.

3. The Baseball Manitoba 50/50 Draw: Tickets will be available for purchase starting sales at 9:00 AM CST on May 1, 2024, with sales ending on August 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM CST. The draw will take place at 11:00AM CST on August 30, 2024.

Early Bird Prize Draws: Every customer that purchases tickets before May 31 at 11:00 AM CST, June 28 at 11:00 AM CST and July 31 at 11:00 AM CST will be entered to win the Early Bird Prize for that corresponding month (3 prizes total). The individual Early Bird draw winners will be chosen during the dates and times listed below (one winner per date) and will be chosen and posted online on www.baseballmanitoba.ca/content/50-50-Raffle.

The Baseball Manitoba 50/50 draw will continue throughout the summer (May 1, 2024 at 9AM CST - August 30, 2024 at 10AM CST) and a final individual 50/50 winner will be chosen on August 30, 2024 at 11AM CST.

Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older and located within Manitoba's provincial borders at the time of purchase. Tickets are not transferable.

The individuals that are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 raffle are 4 Baseball Manitoba full-time office staff, including Executive Director, Executive Assistant, Program Director and Media and Communications Coordinator.

Raffle tickets are sold through the online platform www.zeffy.com.

Accepted payment methods are, Amex, Visa and MasterCard, Apple Pay and ACH.

All raffle tickets purchased on the Zeffy platform will be printed and placed in a draw barrel. A single ticket number will be manually selected from all tickets sold during the raffle timeframe(s). In the case of a discrepancy between the posted number and the actual number selected manually, the actual number selected manually will be considered the valid winning number. The manual ticket draw will be held in the Baseball Manitoba office building at 145 Pacific Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Every ticket holder has the right to witness the draw.

In the event of a technical difficulty, the draw may be delayed. If this is the case, purchasers should retain their ticket and the winner will be posted on www.baseballmanitoba.ca/content/50-50-Raffle.

4.Winner Notification: The winning number and prize amount will be posted following the completion of the draw on https://www.baseballmanitoba.ca/content/50-50-Raffle. The winner will be notified by email from a Baseball Manitoba staff member within three business days. The holder of the winning ticket must claim their prize by forwarding their purchase e-mail to baseball.info@sportmanitoba.ca along with a copy of their government-issued photo identification and address. By claiming the prize, the winner gives Baseball Manitoba the right to publish the winner’s name and prize amount. Names are publicized to protect the integrity of the 50/50 raffle as it verifies that prizes are won. The prize claimant will be required to sign a Declaration and Release ("Release") which must be executed and returned to Baseball Manitoba no later than five (5) business days after the receipt of the Release. The prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. The prize shall be paid by cheque from Baseball Manitoba within thirty (30) days of the winner being confirmed and receipt of the signed Release. The cheque will be mailed to the winner with the customer details provided at time of purchase. All Prizes not claimed on or before the Prize Claim Expiry Date (4:00 PM CST, ten business days from the Raffle date), will be redrawn until the prize is claimed.

If the integrity of the raffle is compromised in any way, Baseball Manitoba will notify the LGCA and consult the LGCA on how to best move forward.
