Provincial Championships
Baseball Manitoba holds fourteen provincial championships in age categories running from Mosquito (10-11) to Senior (open).
There are three levels of competition, based on their level of ability. The "AAA" teams are for elite competition. In Winnipeg there is a season long "AAA" league that uses the five Winnipeg regions for its base. The rural "AAA" teams are league All-Star teams, formed at the completion of the "AA" and "A" league play. "AA" teams are competitive while "A" teams are considered recreational.
Championships are distributed province wide and are held in July and August.
Age categories include: Mosquito: 10-11 years old, Pee Wee: 12-13 years old, Bantam: 14-15 years old, Midget: 16-18 years old, Junior: 21 and under and Senior: 21 and over.
