Mosquito Monster Mania

The "Monster Mosquito Mania" is a fun one-day event for Mosquito "A" teams and players that are not competing in league or regional championships.

This will be a "jamboree" type of tournament.

The games will be played using an extra wide homeplate and batters will start with a 1 ball, 1 strike (1-1) count. These changes (the plate and the count) will speed up the game, make it easier on the pitchers to throw strikes, and allow for a better game for the participants. The Mosquito Monster Mania is non-competitive, in that no winner will be declared. These fun games will be the completion of their season.

There is a cost of $5 per player. Team size will be aminimum of 9 players per team, with a maximum of 18. Teams can amalgamate, or players can register individually and will be placed on a team.

The Winnipeg MMM is May 29 and 30, 2010 at Little Mountain Sportsplex.
