The 2018 21U Women's Invitational Championships were this past weekend in Stonewall, Manitoba. Team Manitoba played well, battled hard, and placed forth overall out of the five teams that entered the tournament.
This weekend brings an exciting event for baseball fans in Manitoba. Starting on August 9th, the 2018 21U Women's Invitational Championships will begin. Team Manitoba will play at 9 am, the opening ceremonies starting at 6 pm, and a weekend full of competitive games will follow. The event is being held in Stonewall, Manitoba, and many talented female players are attending.
2018 18U AAA Rural Qualifier (click for full details)
6 teams took part in this qualifying event. Only four teams could qualify for the 2018 18U AAA Provincials.
After three days of action in Hamiota, here are the final standings:
1 - Carillon (4-1) qualified as first seed
2 - South Central (4-1) qualified as second seed

The government of Manitoba officially proclaimed June 9, 2018 "Amateur Baseball Day in Manitoba" on May 31 at 1PM. Minister Cathy Cox, on behalf of Baseball Manitoba, read the proclamation declaring the event.
