Gladwyn Scott, a dedicated member of the Baseball Manitoba community for over 60 years, has passed away.

Originally from McConnell, MB, Gladwyn was a player, coach, manager, and executive within Baseball Manitoba. He was president of the Manitoba Baseball Association from 1983 to 1987, and a vice-president with Baseball Canada from 1986 to 1989. He played on various teams from McConnell, Cardale, Foxwarren, Hamiota, Miami, Carman, and more. He also scouted part-time for the Blue Jays from 1987 to 1993 and for the Atlanta Braves from 1994 to 2001.

Gladwyn's passing affects many from across the province, and all of us at Baseball Manitoba send our deepest condolences to the Scott family and his entire community at this time.
